Mendon Massachusetts Maternity Session | Manny + Crystal

I am so excited to share pictures from Manny and Crystal’s Mendon Massachusetts maternity session! When I got the email from Crystal with the subject line NEWS!!!!, my face lit up with a big smile because that many exclamation marks was definitely a sign that she and Manny were expecting. My instincts were right, and I read the entire email with a huge smile.  Not only were they expecting, but they wanted me to photograph this next milestone in their lives.  I’ve had the pleasure of making pictures for their engagement session as well as photographing their beautiful wedding last August, and I was thrilled to have them come out to the country for pictures for their maternity session.  The best time for maternity pictures is between 28 and 34 weeks to really show off mom’s baby bump. We planned to photograph inside and outside of my studio location, and we also planned for a few outfit changes that included two beautiful maternity gowns.  The gorgeous off the shoulder lace gown is from Sew Trendy Accessories, and the chiffon champagne stunner is from Boutique by Agnes an Etsy Shop.

Manny and Crystal are such a joy to be around, and if you want to know where to find the best chicken wings, just ask them!  They danced and listened to music at their engagement session, and we did it all over again for their maternity session.  I have always wanted to build lasting relationships with my clients and be their photographer forever, but I didn’t know how this would unfold as I began to specialize in weddings.  Manny and Crystal were my first bride and groom entering the stage of becoming parents, and it became very clear to me that I would indeed continue to photograph the connections and milestones because the story continues, the story matters, and the story should be told and held on to with photographs.

Their baby boy will one day look at these pictures and see just how much his mommy and daddy love each other and love him, and even more so, they will be able to share their story with him in a tangible way that begins with pictures from their engagement session, their wedding day, and the journey of waiting for him.  He will see the love that they have for one another, and the joy of expecting him.  What a way to cherish their legacy, share their story, and relive the moments.

I am anticipating photographing the next chapter, and can’t wait to meet this little baby boy who is already loved so much.  Here are a few favorites from their session!
