One regret you don’t want to have in 20 years is not having printed, tangible photos. Ask me how I know.
Raise your hand if you’ve broken a cell phone or two. Raise your hand if your heart sank. Raise your hand if you wanted to cry because of all the photos and videos you intended to download but never did were on that phone.
Last week I briefly mentioned that my husband and I had two weddings. Yes, two weddings. Although we have okay pictures from the second day. We do not have any photos from the first one. Not a single one. It makes me sad when I think about it, especially because we don’t have any pictures from the day that we actually celebrate our wedding anniversary to share with our children. I want them to see how their dad cried the entire time that we said our vows. I want them to see how happy I was to marry their dad. I want them to see how we started from the very beginning.
I love technology and being able to share photos digitally and seeing pictures on my phone screen. I love pulling up a gallery of pictures on my phone, and sharing them with with my friends. I love sending my hubby silly text messages during the day with photos attached. I really do!
But, nothing will ever replace holding tangible prints in your hand. Nothing will replace looking at photos on my wall that make me smile even on the most difficult days.
I could stand on a rooftop with a megaphone and shout, “print your pictures”, but I decided to do it another way.
Every wedding collection that I offer for 2017 Weddings and beyond will include printed photos. The smallest collection will include 100 proofs like the ones you see below, and the other collections will include a beautiful legacy album and printed proofs.
Trust me, you will not regret having printed pictures of one of the most special days in your lives.
I’m currently booking weddings for 2017 and would love to chat with you about your day. Find out more here.
Have a wonderful day! Happy Tuesday!
