If you love all things winter wonderland, and love, and seeing the sweetest couple getting married then you’re gonna love Tara and Rob’s Alpine Country Club wedding.
This weekend, a new wedding season of magical moments began, and I’m so excited to share some favorites from Tara and Rob’s magical day.
They had been planning their special day for some time, and the thoughtfulness and love poured into every single detail was beautiful. Tara made all of the gorgeous bouquets, boutonnieres, and centerpieces. All intricately designed with brooches, and sparkling jewelry throughout. Some of the pieces from as far as Europe from travels by her mom. I know, I’m getting ahead of myself, but they were commented on all day long because they were just that beautiful.
We started their day at a nearby hotel with the entire bridal party in full preparation for an amazing day.
Both Tara and Rob had some nerves going on in the inside, but on the outside, they were both smiling with happiness and excitement.
Speaking of excitement, Tara was especially excited to finally step into her gorgeous gown that fit her like a glove. When she put it on, it was almost as if she exhaled and welled up with emotions simultaneously.
You could feel the joy in the room as she stood getting all buttoned up.
Her something borrowed was a gorgeous ring that belonged to her grandmother. She was happy to wear it, and her mom was even happier to place it on her finger.
Before meeting Rob for their first look, Tara shared a special first look with her brother. They’ve had a strong bond all of their life, and joyful tears fell as she shared this special moment with him on her wedding day.
After wiping tears away and lots of hugs, she was ready for her first look with Rob.
Seeing each other for the first time was a beautiful, magical moment.
They were both beaming with happiness. LOVE!!
We left the getting ready location and headed over to Alpine Country Club where both their ceremony and reception were held. Upon my arrival, I scouted out the perfect location with some snow-draped trees that would be the perfect setting for their bride and groom, bridal party and family photos. The light was perfect, as it was behind us and bouncing off the snow on the ground.
And speaking of snow…by the time we went outside for photos…the snow stopped!
I’m so thankful that the snow was pretty, their family and friends arrived safely, and their grandparents, Grammie, Grampie, and Momma were all there too. Their grandparents are the SWEETEST!!!!
After photos, the bride and groom were tucked away before their guest began to arrive.
Their Alpine Country Club wedding ceremony was classically decorated. A wall of flowing curtains with twinkle lights would be the backdrop of where they’d stand to say I do’s. Beautiful chandeliers filled the room and gave a nice glow of light.
The bridal party processed in, and the moment had arrived for the beautiful bride to walk down the aisle.
Tara and her brother would share another magical moment together, as he walked her down the aisle to Rob. There were few dry eyes in the room as Tara was absolutely stunning, and Rob stood handsomely waiting for her.
So many joyful tears filled the room throughout the ceremony and there was a celebration as they walked back down the aisle as a happily married couple!
While guests enjoyed cocktail hour, the ceremony space was seamlessly transitioned for the reception. Shawna and the entire staff at Alpine Country Club were amazing. It was a pleasure to work with everyone there. DJ Corey Young got the room moving, and also brought a warm ambiance to the room with beautiful uplighting.
Tara and Rob brought even more warmth to the room as everyone cheered them on and they would sway back and forth with them as they shared their first dance.
Like a river flows surely to the sea
Darling, so it goes
Some things are meant to be
Take my hand, take my whole life too
For I can’t help falling in love with you
Tara and Rob, it was an honor to be with you on your magical day! You both are incredibly kind, easy going, fun (Rob, thank you for sharing the official wrestling hand signals with me-lol) and Tara you are incredibly talented and give the best hugs, the best of which was hugging your gown-loved that! Enjoy your honeymoon with lots of basking in the sunshine and having the sand between your toes. Big hugs to you both!! xo, Shawon
