A classic black tie wedding will never go out of style. This classic black tie wedding inspiration shoot was also inspired by Ed Sheeran’s love song Thinking Out Loud that is sure to be a wedding day favorite this year. I love the lyrics, Sheeran’s smooth vocals, and it’s definitely on my playlist.  The song was written as a “walking down the aisle song”, and the ballroom at Harbor Lights Marina and Country Club was transformed to complete the vision.  The room was adorned with a soft, draped cascade of sheers that led down the candle-lined aisle and into the reception design with linens, settings, and tables from Quality Rental.  The design was styled by LisaMarie of Creative Ambiance Events Floral and Décor Division.

Romantic elements of white and gold and lush greens were the key elements to the design board to bring this inspired shoot to life.  Touches of gold elements for warmth were incorporated in the invitation suite and menu designed by Paper Lily Invitations.  The cake design by Bake.Eat. Love also added another warm touch with bands of gold and soft, delicate, white flowers.

The bride’s strapless tulle wedding gown by SimplyBridal was perfect for a soft, classic romantic touch that was complimented by the groom’s black bowtie and tuxedo by Anthony’s House of Formals.  A statement necklace, bracelet, and earrings were the perfect accessories while leaving the bride as the focus of attention.

The bride’s airbrushed makeup and soft curls, styled by Melissa at M.A.W. Beauty, accented the gown and was perfect for a romantic look.
