Jon and Lindsay’s Prowse Farm wedding was beautiful in so many ways. I was able to spend time with this beautiful couple and their sweet family at their Bare Cove Park engagement session back in the spring. After photographing their engagement session, I knew that their wedding day was going to be amazing. Although they were diligently planning all of the details for their day, the anticipation of being married was even greater. These two are so loving, sweet, and just fun to be around. They weren’t afraid to show off their dance moves at their engagement session, and it just got better at the reception.
Prowse Farm is located in Canton, MA and the setting was a perfect venue for an outside summer wedding. The classic, soft, romantic elements in their wedding theme paired well with the charm of the farm. We started the day with the girls getting ready at the farmhouse, and the guys later joining us in a tucked away room in the house. This worked out well, because I was able to photograph the bride getting ready and get some shots of the guys finishing up downstairs. As soon as the bride got into her gown, it was hard to hold back the tears. I’m sure there are many moments during the preparation part of the day when exhales are released that say, this is really happening.
As her father walked her down the aisle, the tears streamed as she and her dad walked her closer to the beginning of a new life. With their friends and family surrounding them, they exchanged their vows and said I, do. Although there were periods of clouds in the sky, and thunderstorms on the way, nothing could put out their light and keep them from enjoying their wedding day. Here are a few favorites from their day. Stay tuned for Part II featuring their day after session.
