It was such a beautiful sun filled fall day for Kimberly and Perry’s Oakley Country Club wedding. When I met this beautiful couple for their engagement session last February, in spite of over two feet of snow on the ground, their adorable pup George, and their infectious smiles and love for one another was a hint that their wedding day was going to be amazing.
The day began at the Westin Waltham Hotel with getting ready pictures of the bride enjoying her time with the bridesmaids, her mom and future mother-in-law. I love that both Kim’s mom and her mother-in-law helped her get dressed and prepare for the day. Sweet laughter was exchanged throughout the entire getting ready time. The first part of the day set the tone perfectly for their Parish of St. Ignatius of Loyola wedding which is located on the campus of Boston College. After the getting ready portion of the day, we headed to Linden Lane for the first look, a few moments of strolling the lawn, and bridal party photos.
It was such an honor to photograph this sweet couple, and share in their Boston fall wedding with them and the people that they love. Here are some favorites from their day.
Beautiful pearls adorning the gorgeous bride with her mom and mother-in-law right by her side. These are three lovely ladies!
The first look and bridal party photos were all taken at Linden Lane on the campus of Boston College.
The groomsmen’s gray suits were perfectly paired with the bridesmaids’ cobalt blue dress. This bridal party was fantastic!
A few moments to stroll hand in hand as they prepare to say their wedding vows and spend the rest of their lives together. I love to photograph a variety of wedding pictures for couples that completely tell the story of their wedding day. Moments that are sentimental and meaningful as well as reminders of each portion of their day.
We had some time before the reception for portraits of the beautiful newlyweds. There were some amazing pockets of light around The Oakley Country Club for bride and groom photos, and I loved the blend of the warm sunset with the fall foliage. Yes, to planning a fall wedding in Boston.
I love to have some time built into the wedding day timeline for the couple to simply breathe, relax, enjoy each other, and take in the day.
Congratulations, Kim and Perry!
