If you love all things fall and New England, you’re going to love Lauren and Tyler’s Zukas Hilltop Barn Wedding. Rustic, warm, and charming are three words to describe this sweet couple’s day and Zukas was the perfect venue for their wedding and reception. The light was perfect from every view of this tucked away hilltop location. The scenery and beautiful landscape was unending for bride and groom photos as well as bridal party and family photos.
Lauren and Tyler’s Zukas Hilltop Barn Wedding was lovely. These are a few favorites from their wedding day photos from my perspective photographing alongside my sweet friend, Michele Conde.
The First Look
Although there was a slight November chill in the air, Lauren and Tyler planned for a first look before the ceremony. With the sun setting earlier in the fall, this gave them plenty of golden hour light for all of their pictures. Tyler stood anxiously awaiting for Lauren’s tap on the shoulder to see his beautiful bride for the first time. I sometimes give the groom something to focus on like a tree or a bush nearby, and instruct them not to turn around until they feel that gentle tap. The best man has also stood in to wait with them and have a few laughs before the bride is in place. This has seemed to help calm the nerves as he waits. Their first look was a moment of their wedding day that I hope will bring them joy for years to come.

Love this moment and seeing smiles on both of their faces as Lauren slowly approaches to give him that tap on the shoulder.
This swing was in another great spot on the property to use for bride and groom photos. The light was marvelous and made my little heart sing happiness for them. This picture will look amazing as a print in their home.
Their fall inspired wedding color palette consisted of purple calla lilies, orange roses, pine cones and warm rustic elements.
