It was a beautiful, summer day for Courtney and Jasmin’s at the Commons 1854 wedding.  Courtney’s sense of humor and Jasmin’s noble character would be echoed throughout the night during the toasts given by her dad, the maid of honor, and Jasmin’s brother, the best man.  The most riveting part of the day were the resounding chants of USA filling the room during the reception to honor Jasmin who proudly served his country.  Not only did he serve, but so did his brother who shared about his brother’s sacrifice to stay by his side when he was wounded.  It was an honor to photograph alongside my friend Michele and offer an extra perspective of this couple’s lovely day.  While Michele photographed Courtney and the bridesmaids, my day started with the guys getting ready at a nearby hotel not far from the Commons 1854.  Here are a few favorites, and more about their day.

This barn is located directly across the street from the venue.  The groom and the groomsmen took photos here, and later when the sun was much lower in the sky, the entire wedding party and family photos were taken in this same location.

Aren’t these the prettiest wedding colors!  I love the soft, neutral color palette.  These ladies look so elegant and timeless.  I don’t think the mismatched bridesmaid dress trend will ever go out of style.

Portrait time for the bride and groom was just before sunset during the golden hour, and the light was amazing from every angle.  the commons at 1854 romantic bride and groom photo the commons at 1854 wedding photo of bride and groom at the gardens the commons at 1854 bride and groom sunset photo the commons at 1854 venue photo

Johanna and the entire team at the Commons did an exceptional job.  From changing the room from the ceremony to the reception setup to making sure that glasses were filled.

The wedding party would enter the reception dancing to Justin Timberlake’s new song, “Cant Stop the Feeling”.  Love that song!

The bride and groom chose Ray LaMontagne’s song, “You Are the Best Thing” for their first dance song.

This picture of Jasmin and his mom with Courtney’s grandparents looking on in the background is priceless.
