It was an honor to photograph Jake and Katie’s Swedenborg Chapel wedding on last Saturday. I’m thrilled to share more about their story, their wedding and a few favorites from their day!

Selfless, caring, courageous, and kind were only some of the words used to describe Katie and Jake on their wedding day. They have such big hearts for each other, their family, friends, and serving others.

Although neither of them lives in Boston, it’s where they met, where many of their friends live, and where they hold fond memories of the beginning of their journey to together.

As fate would have it, the word “nerdoscientist” would bring them together. True story!

Katie was planning a race and the two of them met for coffee to discuss the race. I never asked if it was love at first sight, but Katie’s using the term “nerdoscientist” pulled on Jake’s heartstrings

Although they didn’t run that race together, it’s because of that meeting that they are now on an even better journey together.

You know all the things that we’ve promised and hoped, and dreamed, well-I meant it all every word.

Their Swedenborg Chapel wedding day was filled with thoughtful personal touches for their family and friends. They wanted everyone to be present in the moment with them, to take it all in, and to have a fun time.
