Starting this Tuesday with a dose of Boston charm, a beautiful couple and sweet moments from their Liberty Hotel wedding this weekend. That beautiful couple is Julianne and Matt, and I’m delighted to share more about their story and their wedding day!

First things first, Julianne and Matt love their pup, Tater! Tater is such a huge part of their lives and was with them when Matt asked Julianne to marry him. Although Tater wasn’t physically at the wedding, there was a life-size photo stand up and honorable mentions throughout the day.

Matt keeps Julianne laughing with his witty sense of humor. They love adventures in the great outdoors and that means many fun activities with Tater in tow.

“If you live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day so I never have to live without you. ‘We’ll be friends forever, won’t we, Pooh?’ asked Piglet. ‘Even longer’, said Pooh. If ever there is tomorrow when we’re not together…there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we’re apart…I’ll always be with you.” – an excerpt from A.A Milne’s Winnie-the-Pooh read during the wedding ceremony as Julianne and Matt smiled at each other.

The day started with the entire bridal party getting ready at the Liberty Hotel. Julianne was absolutely thrilled when she found out the bridal suite would also be available for their wedding day. The suite is on the 16th floor of the Liberty Hotel. The light, views, decor, and overall space is absolutely stunning. There was more than enough room for all of the ladies to prepare for the day, and we also used the space for their first look.

Julianne’s beautiful robe was her something old for her wedding day as it was made by her mom and aunt from her mom’s wedding gown! How special is that?!

The flower girls were adorable and loved all things about love and getting married. While helping Julianne with her jewelry, one of them asked, with the biggest smile on their face, when exactly would she and Matt get to kiss.
They had their eyes on Julianne all day, and their sweet faces were glowing when they saw her in her Essence of Australia wedding dress from VeLace Bridal in Bellingham, MA.

The weather was perfect for their summer Liberty Hotel wedding. The courtyard was beautifully decorated by Jen Anderson with a cascade of rose petals down the aisle. The flowers smelled divine.

The summery bouquets were filled with roses, succulent and I think I spotted David Austen roses in the mix.

After the ceremony, guests headed up to the 4th-floor catwalk to enjoy cocktail hour. The atmosphere was incredibly warm and inviting. Their family and friends gave out a loud cheer as they would join them later after family pictures and a few more pictures of just the two of them.

I enjoyed making pictures for them that incorporated the setting of such a beautiful space for their wedding day. Here are some favorites from their day!
