When your bride tells you she is looking forward to seeing her blog post from her wedding day on Tuesday, that makes my heart happy. Today, I’m delighted to share beautiful moments from Amy and Dan’s Loyal Nine wedding photos this past weekend.
Their story began during one of the snowiest winters in New England history. If you chimed in and said 2015, your response is absolutely correct. In fact, because of that snow, that never ended, Amy was running a few minutes late for their first date.
They met with the intentions of only sharing a drink and casual conversation, but then they ordered dinner and that turned into more conversation that went well past three hours.
That first date turned into many more dates, long conversations, and spending time to get to know each other.
They enjoyed each other’s company, but I think Dan made an initial impression by pulling at Amy’s heartstrings with his love for cats and his tall stature. Dan thought Amy was beautiful, and even more so because of her warm, kind smile.
Together they have celebrated accomplishments, made mistakes, and laughed and cried. They have encouraged and inspired each other to be their best selves. (from their wedding ceremony)
The day started with Amy getting ready at the Royal Sonesta in Cambridge. A few clouds would give way to the most beautiful sunshine as we got closer to their first look.
When her flowers arrived, I saw that warm smile of Amy’s get even brighter. Dahlias are her favorite and they were quite the show stopper.
Amy and Dan wanted their day to have a simply beautiful, casual meets urban and industrial vibe. Through their intimate Loyal Nine wedding photos, you can see that vision come to life.
While the aesthetic of their day was important, they wanted to remember the feeling and mood of their wedding day through the candid moments of laughter and warm smiles shared with their family and close friends.
Amy and Dan, thank you for the honor to be part of your day. I have loved getting to know you both and I can’t finish writing about you and your day without mentioning Franklin and Eleanor 🙂 Have an amazing mini-moon!! I’m sure you will find the most delicious things to eat!! xo, Shawon
