It was a beautiful day on Saturday for Monica and Paul’s fall Colonial Hotel wedding in Gardner, MA. The landscape of fall could not have been more perfect, and I am excited to share a few favorites from their day.

I shared some of their story with their engagement session blog, and here is a snippet again.

They can’t pinpoint exactly when they first met. Monica knew Paul as just the older brother of one of her friends that she’s known since she was little.

While attending the 25th birthday party of a friend, Paul was there, and he thought Monica was cute. He convinced that friend to have another party and to invite that cute girl, Monica.

They have been inseparable since they started dating, and in 2017, just before she started Graduate School, Paul proposed to Monica and she said yes!

When we met last year at the studio, I knew that they were going to have a beautiful wedding day. They were both excited to share what they were looking forward to, and dancing to Prince’s Diamonds and Pearls was part of that excitement.

Oh, it was so good!

Their first look was on the lawn in front of the Pagoda in the gorgeous fall setting. Monica was stunning and beaming, and Paul couldn’t wait to see her.
The last bit of sunlight, warm lighting from modern chandeliers, and an aisle of candlelights filled the room for their intimate ceremony.

Warm exchanges of smiles, laughter, and moments of deep inhales and exhales as they said their vows and placed rings were beautiful.

When the doors opened to their reception, I knew that it was going to be a fun party all night celebrating them. And indeed, it was!

Monica and Paul, I am so excited for you two! It has been a joy getting to know you, and what an honor to be with you on your wedding day. Keep smiling and making each other laugh!! Sending big hugs to you both! xo, Shawon
