Badgley Mischka was definitely a favorite something blue wedding day essential last year.  I’m sure that wedding day trend will continue because Badgley Mischka’s Giana Embellished Toe Evening Shoe is SWOOON worthy and the perfect blue.  Now had I considered a pair to adorn my feet in for a special event, I would have a different story to tell you. I’m kicking off week two of my 365 journey with a favorite from this week and the story behind my sparkly beauties.

As I was on the hunt for something beautiful to photograph, I decided to bring out a pair of lovelies that I should have thrown away after wearing them only once.  You can laugh because I certainly am.  Well, now I can laugh.

I purchased these silver, sparkly, pretty on the outside heels at the very last minute.  I was attending an evening event with my aunt, and needed at minimum a two inch pair of heels for the long beautiful dress that I also bought at the last minute.  The dress was gorgeous!

To say that I could hardly walk in these beauties would be an understatement.  My desire to walk to the buffet for food,  greet guests outside of a one inch diameter, and dance to the greatest hits were all diminished.  I was so thankful that wearing these shoes were short lived because there was another party to attend that required a change of clothes and definitely a change of shoes.  Thank goodness!

So, while they look beautiful for pictures, I think I might have to consider a pair of Badgley Mischka’s or not shop at the last minute when I have such an event to attend.
