Today, I’m thrilled to share a sneak peek from Janna and Eli’s Borderland State Park engagement pictures. I really want the pictures to do the talking because one of them, in particular, left me speechless.

They met in the middle. And when I say middle, I really mean approximately 2,000 miles combined to meet in the middle.  It was at freshmen orientation that they would meet after traveling many miles to their college campus.

They would become friends, walk through college together, graduate together, enjoy traveling together, and soon they will get to spend the rest of their lives together.

Eli could have chosen all of the popular spots in NYC to propose, but he passed them all with the ring in his pocket all day long to wait until to the perfect time.
As they were getting ready to watch their favorite movie, Elf, Eli proposed to Janna and she said yes!

Elf would now have to wait because they were immediately on the phone with their family and friends to share the wonderful news.
Janna and Eli, I’m going to think about you every time that I watch Elf! 🙂

What do they love? Well, number one is definitely their cat Sassafras. They also love spending time together and with their family, going out to eat, and did I mention Elf.

After the rain that we got in May, we were able to meet last Sunday for their Borderland State Park Engagement pictures. They warmed up to getting their pictures taken after a couple of frames and Sassafras, although not there, helped out as well.
Borderland has quickly become a favorite for engagement pictures because of the beautiful natural outdoor setting, the garden area with stone paths, beautiful pockets of light, and the waterfront.

It was beautiful for these fall Borderland State Park engagement pictures, and it was perfect for Janna and Eli’s session.

Janna and Eli, you left me speechless!! It was great spending time with you!! I am so excited for you and look forward to your wedding day in July!! Yay!! xo, Shawon
