Katherine and Pete brought all of the fun to their Boston Esplanade engagement session last week, and I’m so excited to share their sneak peek! Read more about their story, some of the things that they love, and enjoy a few favorites from their engagement session.

Love is patient.

What could keep your first date from happening?

A. A flat tire.

B. Someone is sick.

C. A snow storm. (We live in New England, so this is possible).

D. Tickets to watch the Red Sox and Yankees.

If you answered D. tickets to watch the Red Sox and Yankees, and I’ll add watching the game at home plate, you were right.

But you know what, love is patient, and love is also kind enough to say let’s plan for another date. And because love is patient, and love was certainly patient for Katherine and Pete, their official first date happened almost three months later in Atlanta.

Love would continue to be patient as their relationship continued and blossomed long distance as Pete served our country. Letters, phone calls, video chats, and coveted weekends together meant so much to them.

As their relationship grew, and love continued to be patient, they were reunited back in Boston, the city where it all began.

Last year, on top of Mt. Heavenly in Lake Tahoe, they were engaged, and this year, in a few short months they will say “I Do”!

What do they love? They both love country music! He loves her impromptu dancing (I witnessed her dance moves at their session-love!). He also loves her passion for helping others. She loves his unwavering and steadfast support. Love, Love, Love!!
