Today, I’m excited to share a sneak peek from Megan and Tim’s fall engagement photos Arnold Arboretum at Harvard University. Read more about their story, some of the things that they love, and enjoy a few favorites from their engagement session.

The weather has been wonderful this fall, and last Friday, after the rain showers passed the sun came out just in time for Megan and Tim’s engagement session.

They are college sweethearts and actually met at a Christmas party their sophomore year of college.

They met in the month of December and were engaged this past December.

With plans to go into the city and a casual stroll through Boston Commons, Megan had no idea that Tim had plans to propose.

He’d asked one of his friends to be a spy and follow them. That friend was able to keep his cover and take pictures of a most special day for them.

I always tell my couples to be prepared for a fun time for their engagement session. I don’t think Tim was prepared for quite as much fun but he was a trooper and I love the connection, laughter, and fun that they had together.

Where to take Fall Engagement Photos Arnold Arboretum

Arnold Arboretum is a massive property and the places to take photos are endless. We started out in a busier area not far from the Hussey building and then walked out to an open field of light, and passed a few gardens hanging on to summer blooms.

I love that there are places for more privacy and not to be out among visitors enjoying afternoon walks and runs.

What do they love? They love taking walks and hikes with their dog Hudson, cheering for the Patriots, and there may or may not be opposing cheering happening when the Bruins are playing the Devils.

Megan and Tim, you are wonderful together and your secret handshake was the best! I am so excited for you and look forward to your wedding day next May!! Yay!!
