It is fall engagement season, and I couldn’t be happier to spend this time with some of my 2017 couples.  It was a wonderful afternoon of strolling through the park with many laugh out loud moments for Dawn and Dillon’s Larz Anderson Park engagement photos.

They met at a friend’s birthday party in New York City in 2012.  A few months later they went on their first date at Dillon’s alumni formal.  They have been inseparable since and have charted many miles together traveling to Paris, all over Europe, and Munich.

Dawn is a planner, and that is one of the qualities that Dillon loves about her.   So, in January 2016,  Dawn had made plans for a weekend get-a-way to Portland, Maine for just the two of them.  While she had planned for dining and fun outings in Portland on her list, little did she know that he had a few plans of us own.  Everyone knew about his plans except Dawn.

Both of their families waited for phone calls of the news that Dillon had proposed, and not long into this weekend away he did indeed propose and she said YES!!

Their new journey together as husband and wife will begin in April 2017.  Dawn has enjoyed them spending time together planning their wedding, and Dillon looks forward to not having to say fiance anymore.  Love that!!

I truly had a blast hanging out with them, and their laughter and love for one another is so lovely.  It has been a joy to get to know them better, and I can not wait to photograph their beautiful 2017 wedding in New Hampshire.
