This past weekend, I had the honor of photographing Becca and Connor’s wedding at Lake Pearl. I’m delighted to share more about their wedding day and a few favorites that are going to make you smile.

Friday was the longest day of 2019, the beginning of the summer, and two of the kindest souls you’ll ever meet said I do.

We started the day with both of them getting ready with their wedding parties. Connor got ready at a local hotel in Franklin, MA and Becca got ready at her parent’s home.

The day started out with rain, but the raindrops settled as the day went by. The ceremony setting and lighting was made perfect by the softest clouds and the beautiful backdrop of the lake.

Planning a wedding at Lake Pearl will offer several locations to have either the ceremony or reception. Becca and Connor chose an outdoor ceremony on the beach and their reception was in the Tree Top room.

They saw each other for the first time as Becca walked down the aisle.

After snapping a few frames at the onset of Becca walking with her dad, I turned around to photograph Connor’s reaction.

He looked as though his heart would burst as tears streamed down his face.

The joy was amazing. What a heartwarming moment!!

Rebecca’s childhood Pastor officiated their ceremony and encouraged them to be patient, listen to each other, and to always keep love at the center of their marriage.

Joy radiated from their faces as they walked back down the aisle together as they were celebrated with cheers and sprinkled with bird seeds.

Dan and Connor best friends since 1st grade.

I have already mentioned, which I know that I will do again, these two have the BIGGEST hearts.

Dan, the best man, described Connor as zany and brilliant. Jenna, the maid of honor shared how Becca had been an unrelenting and positive force in the lives of her friends.

After their introduction into the reception, they started the evening in the most vibrant way with a magically choreographed first dance. They danced passionately to Anna Sun’s Walk the Moon, and there was no way not to smile as they were incredibly exuberant. It was fantastic!!

They truly set the tone for a fun evening celebrating their happiness and a new journey together.

Congratulations, Becca and Connor!! It was an honor to be part of your wedding day and celebrate with you! You two have the biggest hearts, are an absolute delight, and I couldn’t be happier for you. Big hugs to you both!! xo, Shawon
