It was a beautiful sun-filled day this past Saturday for Kaleigh and Junki’s wedding at The Cape Club. These two college sweethearts are amazing together and the joy and the tears were abundant all day long.
I’ve been counting down the time along with them to their wedding day since meeting them last fall for their engagement session. You can read more about their engagement session here.
Before these two college sweethearts started dating, Junki had some convincing and persuading to do before Kaleigh would go out with him. One of the ways he convinced her was learning how to play Daylight on the piano, Kaleigh’s favorite song.
I think that might have sealed the deal to the start of forever because they’ve been together ever since.
On their wedding day, Kaleigh surprised Junki as she walked down the aisle to that very song.
Aww!! I love that!!
They really are special!!
We started their wedding day at the Cape Club with them getting ready there as their entire day from getting ready to the reception was at the Cape Club which made the logistics of the day smooth.
Wendy and Ami are always a pleasure to work with! Kelsey was great as well!
Their first look was incredibly special as well and one that I will always remember. They wrote vows and read them out loud to each other. I know, so sweet?!!
After drying eyes and wiping away tears, the wedding party joined them for photos.
On my drive down to the Cape, the clouds were still settled in and I thought they were going to remain for most of the day.
The sun came gleaming out, and the warm glow radiated as they stood to say their vows, listened to beautiful readings, lovely singing of “Ave Maria”, and exchanged rings.
Their parents were incredibly happy for them. Kaleigh’s dad beamed during his toast at the reception as he spoke about “that Junki” that loves his daughter dearly.
It was beautiful to see all of their family and friends from near and far celebrate with them. When I say far, I mean as far as Japan!
Kaleigh and Junki, it has been an absolute pleasure to work with you and get to know you both over these past months. I am so, so happy for you!! Congratulations again, and big hugs to you both!! xo, Shawon
