Reflections of the year fill my mind every year at the brink of a new one beginning.  Reflections of what worked and didn’t, goals met and those that remain to be accomplished, incomplete lists of things to do, business up and downs, family members loved and lost, time passed, reflections of my life as a mom, wife, photographer, friend, and a Christian.

As I began this second day in the new year today, I began to reflect more and then my mind began to look forward to the things to come in the new year.  I had resolved that I was not going to make a list of resolutions that I misplace, and fail to remember.  I thought about words.  Words to surround me.  Words to remind me. Words to keep me moving forward in 2014.  These are my words of motivation.  These are words that have always filled my life.  However, some of them like the importance of friendship were dimly lit in my life last year.

I am going to frame my words, so that I can see them each day to remind me of my words for the new year.  I encourage you to reflect, find your words, and frame them as well. Although they appear to be mere words, to me they are constant reminders, and my words for 2014-the New Year!  What are your words? Feel free to comment below.
