I’m a planner at heart and many of my plans, for now, have shifted and changed along with the rest of the world due to the coronavirus.

Today, I’m sharing some productivity tips for small business owners that I’m using in my own business while getting to work from home.

We moved my office back home almost two weeks ago. Although it’s only been two weeks it seems like it’s been months. Raise your hand, if you wake up most days wondering what day of the week it is? Me too!

One of the first things that I set out to do was to figure out ways to stay productive and to use this time to work on my business.

As small business owners, we often find ourselves working in our businesses and not having as much time as we’d like to work on our business.

Being in a creative space has certainly helped to keep my mind positively and intentionally focused.

I stumbled upon this quote on Canva and it is so true;

Do something today that your future self will thank you for.

So, what are you doing today?

If you need a few ideas to get you started, I’m sharing some here and you can download the entire list of 14 small productivity tips for small business owners to elevate your business, keep your momentum going, and thrive as we all pivot and shift.

  1. Update your website. Now is a great time to update your website. Update your photos, add new content, contact information, and update your contact form.
  2. Client Experience. Your client experience is an essential part of your brand. Walkthrough your current client onboarding process, is it efficient and streamlined? Take it a step further and see if there are ways that you can make your client experience better. Make changes as needed. I recently made a switch to Honeybook, and I love it. I’ll share more later, but you can grab a coupon here.
  3. Create. Create some new content in Canva that will serve your audience. Canva is a tool that I use in my business for designing pdfs, ebooks, and graphics. The graphics I’m using in the blog were all made in Canva!

So, what are you doing today?
