Sharing only with their families and close circle of friends, he held the biggest surprise ever for four long months.
Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years would all pass, but on January 7, 2017, Shadrach asked Imani to be his wife. She knew he was the one, and he knew that he had found his queen.
On the same hill where they shared their first kiss, she said yes to the one who makes her smile even brighter.
They met at a church Easter egg hunt a couple of years ago, a friend would introduce them, and they started talking several months later.
McKenna’s would become their favorite breakfast spot and where they would share many sweet conversations.
Their Indian Pond Country Club wedding photos are filled with joy, the warmth of family and friendships, and above all love.
When I spoke to them over the phone, they made the hairs stand on my arms because…
They wanted their wedding pictures to remind them of why they got married.
They wanted to feel the joy-filled moments and excitement of their wedding day.
They wanted to always be inspired to move forward through the ups and downs of marriage.
They wanted to be able to look back 20 years from their wedding day to see how far they’d come together.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!
Imani and Shadrach, it was such an honor to photograph your wedding day and witness the commitment that you have to each other and the commitment that your family and friends have to you and your marriage. I am so happy for you and want you to know that I am cheering for you as well!! Imani, I’m sure your surprise honeymoon will be amazing!! xo, Shawon
Indian Pond Country Club Wedding Photos

Because of rain leading up to the day of, I arrived early at the venue to check in to see if the grounds were dry enough for the ceremony to still take place outdoors. Thankfully, Laura had been given the thumbs up and the day was absolutely beautiful.
Pam and Vicky were outstanding. I had to give Pam the biggest hug because the cocktail hour was extended giving us extra time for family and bridal party photos. That also meant we had some time to head out to Indian Pond’s gorgeous stone bridge for bride and groom alone photos.
What a sweet embrace!
I love that they had some quiet moments together. I
The light was amazing, and I love every single picture. I wanted to share them all! These two are just lovely together!!
