When creating this styled New England wedding inspiration shoot, the first thing that came to mind was the color Navy.  I’m certain that is because no matter what the popular color wedding trends are, navy is definitely a classic that will stand the test of time.  Not only is it a classic color, but it is also a color that pairs well with many others to create a perfect wedding day color combination.

I’ve seen palettes of navy and red, navy and blush pink which is perfect for spring and summer weddings, and navy and a simple white with gold is also a nice wedding day color palette.  For this styled shoot, the color palette was Navy, white, gold, and a pop of pink.

In keeping with a classic theme, the bride wore an elegant birdcage veil from SimplyBridal.  If you’re on the fence about wearing a veil on your wedding day, you might consider a bird cage veil as an option.

The bride’s makeup was flawless!  Melissa, with M.A.W. Beauty, styled the bride’s hair with a soft up do that was also perfect the veil.  I love that she added a pink lip color for spring, and the smokey eye color creates a very elegant look.  Melissa created a soft, natural look for the bride using airbrushed makeup.
