Making pictures for this intimate wedding inspiration shoot was so much fun. It was inspired by the song ‘1000 years’ by Christina Perri which is a favorite of mine and on my wedding playlist. Every wedding day is unique to the bride and groom, and I decided to style an intimate feel for a small intimate wedding. The possibilities are endless from where the ceremony is held to say your vows to where the celebration will continue for your reception. If you decide to have a private estate wedding, or choose a top Cape Cod wedding venue, your day is about the two of you, surrounded by those whom you love and who love you.
Melissa with ,M.A.W. Beauty, styled the bride’s hair and makeup. She was inspired by a picture of Lala Anthony. I love working with Melissa, and she has the best tips for looking fabulous on your wedding day.
(From Melissa):I chose neutral and soft metallic colors for the eyes, cheeks were a natural peach flush, and the lip color was a natural pink. For the makeup, my goal was to really bring warmth to the skin and make the bride look as though she was glowing from the inside out. For the hair, I created a side bun that, again, was easy and effortless, but classic. Overall, the entire look was designed to be youthful, fun and fresh, but still classic, timeless and elegant.

I always look for the best light to make pictures of the bride on the wedding day, and it was no different when creating photos for this shoot.
The chic wedding cake was kissed with white spackled lines of buttercream frosting by Bake.Eat.Love.
The main table was styled with silver candelabras and candleholders from Quality Rental to create a warm, romantic ambiance. Blooms of dahlia, hydrangea, and roses filled a mercury glass vase as the main centerpiece as well as the bride’s bouquet.

Quality Rental has a wonderful selection of table settings, and this setting trimmed in a delicate silver pattern did not disappoint.
