Today, I’m delighted to share beautiful moments from Michelle and Adam’s winter Meditech wedding this past weekend. Although it was a brisk February day, the warmth of the atrium, palm trees, planters filled with fiddle leaf and lilies, gave no resemblance or feeling of winter at all.
Here’s more about their story, and a few heartwarming moments from their day.
Two long weeks would pass before she checked her voicemail messages to discover that yes, he did call her. And although it was two weeks before she’d return his call, he was happy that she did.
They have agreed to disagree on the details of that two-week pause, and they are sticking with their versions of exactly what happened.
Their proposal story (Adam’s words)…In September 2018, I hijacked a performance of Much Ado About Nothing (with a valiant assist from the cast and crew) and turned it into Much Ado About Something, and asked Michelle to marry me. Luckily, she didn’t take two weeks to decide this time!
Isn’t that the sweetest!
When I first spoke to Michelle over the phone to hear more about her and Adam’s wedding day, her love for him, their love for each other, and their love for their family and friends was immediately felt in every way.
They have been through some painful times of sickness, trials, and losing Michelle’s father, uncle and grandfather in the fall of last year. They have already walked through so much together. Through those moments of sadness and hard times, they’ve reminded each other that no matter how difficult they are always on the same team.
Their wedding day was a day of celebration, a joyful time for their families, laughter with friends, the most heart-warming moments, and a few surprises for Adam.
Michelle signed some of her vows to him, and there was a surprise for him during the reception as some of their friends and family learned to sign some verses of a song to him.
Are you getting teary-eyed too?! I know, it was a special day for them in many ways.
Their winter Meditech wedding ceremony was absolutely beautiful. Their chuppah was adorned with bundles of roses and greenery set in front of a serene fountain. Before the ceremony, they’d share their first look here as well and signed their Ketubah on the balcony overlooking the ceremony space.
After the breaking of the glass and a celebratory walk back down the aisle on their new journey together, the celebration would continue with their reception at Saphire Estate in Sharon, MA.
Family and friends were welcomed with nods to their passion for theatre on each table. Decorated lines and famous play titles with beautiful centerpieces designed by Fabiano Florist set by warm candlelight created an inviting atmosphere.
It was a lovely evening, with laugh out loud moments during the speeches, the sweetest first dance, and even more dancing once Spencer opened the dance floor.
Michelle and Adam, thank you for the honor to be part of your day. I have loved getting to know you both, and it was a joy to see you celebrate your special day with your family and friends. You make the best team, and I hope that you have a fabulous honeymoon!! xo, Shawon
