Many good things happened this month, and celebrating seven years in business was one of them!

Seven years ago, I decided to take the leap. I had no idea what was ahead. All I knew was that I’d discovered an amazing little box that let light in and allowed me to show others the light that I see in their relationships as couples, families, and beautiful individuals.

I wasn’t looking for it all. It found me.

These past seven years have been nothing short of AMAZING. I have been incredibly blessed to get to know some of the sweetest couples, share their stories, and be present for them on one of the most special days of their lives to photograph the candid, the in between, and relationships of family and friends that they hold dear.

There have been many days that I felt like giving up, days that I thought I’d never fill my calendar and days that I had no idea what I was doing.

For a long time, I felt that I was just a mom with a camera as I allowed side eyes and what people thought, or what I thought they thought, to creep in.

But deep down inside I knew that there was something greater.

Yes, I am a mom with a camera who understand and values fleeting time, I didn’t have a photographer for my wedding day so I value and show up with everything to give for every one of my couples on their wedding day, I value relationships and those that have played a pivotal role in my life. Every single time I pick up my camera, through my lens I see as a mom, a wife, a daughter, a granddaughter, a friend, a sister, and a strong woman.

My dad gave me the BEST advice when I decided after six months of getting a new camera, that I wanted to start a business and become a photographer.

He told me not to wait for anyone to tell me who I was. If I wanted to become a photographer, then go, do, and become.

It has taken time, hard work, lessons to learn, aligning and realigning my why with my values and goals, and the becoming never stops because you never stop growing.

Thank YOU immensely for the honor to be part of your wedding days and special celebrations of life.

I’m SO excited for all to come as I continue to photograph love and joy on the weekends, and photograph life-changing shoots that empower and inspire at the studio during the week.

Thank YOU for being a part of this incredible seven-year journey that can’t stop won’t stop.

Cheers to celebrating seven years in business! The best is yet to come!
